What Is an English Major?
Humanist scholarship has to be multidisciplinary in order to be valuable. But our majors basically teach students that to be a major, whatever that means, they have to do no 12 courses in english or 12 courses in history. So one of things i would say is that that's just a bad theory of knowing a and so I propose breaking down the structure of humanity's majors into what i call book modules.
