The Importance of Corporate Sponsorship in Django

If you're a company that depends on Django, then it's like taking out insurance on your technical dependencies to sponsor the Django software foundation. We've lost our two platinum members this year. So that's a loss of $50,000. And I think speaking for myself on the board, corporate sponsors is an area we've done some things we added badges and could do a lot more.
