Can the Fed Keep Fed Funds Rate at 5% Through the Rest of 23?
We're still looking at 50 basis points until we see a sizable drop again. The big question is, can the Fed keep Fed funds rate at 5% through the rest of 23? Can the global economy, including the US economy, absorb that reality that 2023, we're going to have 5% Fed funds rate? I think that's the big question for next year.
