Extending Experience for Signs Does Not Cause Them to Believe

People are sometimes held back from yielding by the invisibility of what is proposed. Sometimes we can hold out for a long time. By exploring our experience, though, the person can also find various corroborating signs. But this process of exploring experience for signs and elaborating them in an argumentative form does not cause the person to believe.
