80% of principals reported experiencing frequent job related stress. This was far higher than the general adult population at the same time. In particular, principles who identified as people of color were more likely to experience constant job-related stress. Female principles and principles of color are sort of systematically more likely to lead schools that have high poverty student populations,. And might therefore have higher needs. Remote principles experienced a different set of stressers than in person principles. It could be that there are different things going on in their lives. it could be something about the characteristics of the schools that they lead.
