The Upstream Effects of Social Media

Tristan Harris spent a decade trying to combat the downstream effects of low tech social media. Now we have something truly high tech that is so unknowable in the same way who would have thought? We're going to have human social media, you know, posts duking it out for real estate on your screen with stuff that is totally synthetic. That's where I kind of have a moment of like brain breakage where I just can't even really picture what that looks like.
