I think what came first was the idea that if they got sent back, they would be sent back to the moment right before they died, and they would perish. And that peter would have a huge, momentous, immoral decision to make that would propel the rest of the movie. Then we were exploring all those possibilities. We really, you know, started leaning into that idea that these two heroes, you see their points of viewyou see doctor strange saying, you don't mess with people's fates. It gets mad kilt, and he's ready to go and kill goblin because of it.
