Is It Time to Find a New Job in Machine Learning?

If you're working for a company that gives you a week to implement an ML solution, it's time to find another job because that company sucks and the management is clueless. You need to factor in to say, we're going to do experimentation and prototyping that's going to be four times longer than we would for any other project. And then at the conclusion of everybody's work being done, you share what you've all have learned. But throughout that entire scoping process and MVP construction process, you're going to be learning this, that API and that process and you'll be screwing up tons of things if it's not enough.
