Amy Steinem's first book, Haunted Homes Hollow, was published in the early 70s. She had terrible learning disabilities and horrible handwriting as a child. Some of her issues may have been related to being adopted by an abusive family. Her stories are filled with contradiction and oddity; she says they're "fascinatingly funny"
