The Importance of Monologue

I want to punch the writer in the face repeatedly, Jim Herzl's. I saw Norman Beaton do a monologue called Nice by Mustafa Matura. And it was all about, I was nice to him. He was nice to me. That's the motif all the way through. This is like that. It's people choosing the stand-up form, but kind of knocking it sideways to achieve something else. You know, you often see extraordinary one person shows Edinburgh. Richard Blackwood was in one. Eddie Taylor was in another.
