The Republican Party Is a Fascinating One Compared to Other Tories
The Republican party is just a fascinating one compared to other conservative parties around the world. It combines a very extreme right economic agenda for its elite base with a right wing populist sort of white identity resentment agenda for the base. Then the Democratic party is not some sort of like amazingly moral network here, but they have a set of bases. They have its own professional middle class and tech industry base at a more elite level that has pro immigration preferences and things like that. Plus you have a base that's interested in sometime in both progressive economic policy and to some extent racial liberalism - all of which point towards expanding democracy to some extent.
