I Hate the O Word and All, but I Don't Hate Spinoza
I think this discussion has convinced me that maybe i im thinking about owen saying, i hate the o word and all. It would be much better to move from social onthology to social ecology. Even though spinoza have some harsh things to say bout lesser animals, i know the vegans out there would hate those bits, they don't have reason like us. We owe them shit. O the notion that we an injury, even to the environment, is an injury to all of us seems to be to be a more compelling way of understanding our constitution as reasonable creatures. I dare you to try to find some common notions when you're worried about where your water is coming from
