The Repugnant Conclusion

Most people would admit there's some value in having this life of musac and potatoes compared to no life at all. But when you compare two different species, I don't think there's a single well-defined unit of utility that enables you to say which one is better. So we side against the repugnant conclusion. And what we're left with is our particularistic siding with human-like entities.
