Is Carbon Removal a New Approach to Science?

Carbon removal is some a whole new approach to science. It's changing the traditional approach to science, right? Very silod and you have to have a lot of multi disciplinary folks together for it to work. And i'm hopeful that as jane and others in the field develop these centres, that we can move these research projects farther more quickly. That being said, how axcepted is this technology within like the climate justice community, environmental justice community? Are there similar concerns with this as there are for other types of carbon am removal strategies?
