Reactive streams are types that were introduced, not in spring itself, but as the result of a joint initiative by a number of different organizations. These types fill a non trivial hole in the jdic. And so when you do react a progaing, you can use these reacte streams types that were extracted out into this little specific, this defacto specification then these different organizations created years ago.
