The Relationship Between Inequality and Violence
i think that to understand these issues properly, we have to understand, often, say, monkeys rather than marks. And our sensitivity to social hierarchy am has those roots. i think that e ou know, you see it in very simple ways. One of the strongest, clearest relationships that have been shown so many times round the globe is the relationship between inequality and greater violence,. as measured by homicide. In more unequal societies, status becomes more important and we become more sensitive to being looked down on, disrespected. You know, if i can't get you to respect me way, there's another way.
