The Australian Labour Party and the Australian Council of Trade Unions on Prices and Incomes
The accord was an agreement between the Australian Labour Party and the Australian Council of Trade Unions on prices and incomes. It lasts for 13 years, that agreement, it sort of over this period transforms into a series of different additions. But really that key objective of suppressing wages and industrial action is the key effect. And in fact, wages don't even keep up with inflation through several sort of mechanisms. Real wages fall over that period.
