It makes you believe that Amnon is a fairly unhinged person. He's deranged in some way, but not the same way as Shechem. Once he has acquired this thing, this object, then he immediately has the opposite reaction. So what he thinks that he wants, once he has it, he then treats as garbage afterward and just kind of throws her, throws her away.
