What We Learned Today

Ali Vatanka: All of these hearings, they started the first briefing, 8 a.m. on the house side and then at 11.30 this morning, all senators got a briefing. And look, there was clear frustration from many of these lawmakers, especially in the public briefings, because they felt that their questions might not be getting full answers. But after the classified briefing is when we heard on the Democratic side, at least, people who sounded frustrated publicly before in the non-classified briefings coming out and saying that they felt they got a better understanding. Now, at least on both sides of the building, they got that at least in a preliminary sense.
