The Prague Jewish Museum had an amazing collection of historic Jewish artifacts. Its curator, a Jewish man named Carl Stein, saw the writing on the wall when the Nazis rolled into Prague. He began lobbying his local SS and then started to work his way up to the Nazi high command saying, we need to save all this stuff.
