We Didn't Have a Food Truck, Right?
The Greenwood district, also known as Black Wall Street was one of the most prosperous black communities in the nation. What set Greenwood apart from other pockets of black wealth in the country is that you could start off as a farmer and move into business and become a billionaire. It felt like a gem for one point in time and one that was definitely transcendent that was different. We didn't have a food truck until like 2013 or so. And I think for the most part for the better, but I wanted to say, look, before it gets all this media attention, before things really change, let me talk about what it was before.
