How to Make a Banjo?
The extreme version, which is clearly not the case, is that you have to get goat skin from some mountain goat. The idea of a plastic head was introduced in the 19 fifties and it's kind of a crapshote because each skin is a little different. You don't you have the hooks on the edge to there's a ring which tensions it and pulls it down. Or you can mount it with a series of rings, and then the hooks, like a drum, pull it tight. That's what i got.
