The gig economy is really, the economy presents itself as a natural extension of delivery service, taxi services, food delivery services. One in reality, it's an artificially constructed platform that uses algorithms to try to assign work in ways that's exploitative but also keeps a huge surplus of workers. So there's a, so the algorithm and the digital sheen are artificial that obscure really insidious organizations of how people are going to relate to one another. And also how, you know, resources are going to be extracted from communities and in the search for a profit - none of these companies have realized yet.
