Gamification is often just this thing that people slap on its points, badges and leaderboards. It's more about how do you provide feedback loops so that the user is able to dynamically respond to their own success and failure? You know, like these are the sorts of questions that I'm asking.

Rob Haisfield is a behavioral product strategy and gameful design consultant. He applies behavioral science and game design principles to products to influence user behavior.
