The Prologue to the Prologue Is a Story Within a Story
The prologue is a story within te stories about the 19 65 watt's revolt, which started from a car stop. So that structure was in my head when i started the arbory piece. The thing that i didn't know that i was going to write about, necessarily, was the history of brunswick. But the more i started talking to people and just thinking about how much racism is tacit, that really made me commit it too. How can we not frame what happened to my outside of raceism? And then clearly, you know, trying to show who he was.
