The Augustinian Theology of Love

Augustine: If you love anything more than God, the very same spiral starts. You become enslaved and increasingly empty. And therefore our hearts are restless until they find their rest in me. The answer is not that you should love your little boy less like Epictetus says,. But you should love God more and enjoy the love of God more.
