Being in Actuality and Being in Potentiality

The world is characterized by modes of being toward actuality, of being towards operative perfection. You and I did not make the plants or the minerals, nor did they make us. The ordered world of operative perfections that exist in reality is diverse and pre-exists each of us. We are all part of this ordered world together. Matter alone, matter alone cannot account for such order.
