How to Be Polite in the UK
Rule number eight is do not ask personal questions. We don't ask people's age, especially women who are older than you. Women in general is kind of polite not to ask their age. Men, a little bit more acceptable, but still something to be avoided. Rule nine is people say sorry a lot, and it doesn't always mean sorry.
