The Importance of Chorus Echo in a Studio
I wanted to use only real effects as much as possible. Whenever we wanted reverb, we recorded at my friend Josh Jockman's studio outlier in upstate New York. Chorus echo is amazing. I can't stand how easy a chorus echo makes your life. If you want to put delay or just vibe on something and you blend it 50-50, it is fucked up. The same with the Lex Com Prime time. It will always work. These days I'm obsessed with contrast. So especially with microphones, man. Do we want a really bright sound or do we wants a really dark sound?
