In primitive societies, all of these different interests resonate together to some extent. But they have the opportunity to veer off into very interesting, you know, untamed territory. So there's that distinction in the binary sense. And again, circular segmentation is referring to the different kinds of interest that people have. For them, any kind of binary distinction that might have been erected within among primitive people was only done in according to various ambiguous mechanisms.
