I love the Q mid credit sequence, not because it's priming the pump for the adventures of Q and Jack Crusher. But again, Star Trek isn't franchise. Regardless of whether there's a TV show of it, that there's always another Enterprise out there having adventures. I think it's just a very nice kind of like, hey, we're bringing it all the way back around the end. It bugged me only because I kind of just wanted the poker game to be the final scene. And they play it beautifully, even though nothing justifies it.
