The Problem With Shooting a Bullet and Dropping It

If you let go of a bullet at the same time and the bullet you fire, there's nothing in its way. It's just going to keep going until eventually it curls down and hits the ground. Most shooting ranges will not accommodate this request. Or the bullet is big enough or in the air for not enough time that air resistance doesn't play a big part. If you're shooting it perfectly horizontally, it's got no up or down component in the force and the direction it's moving. And most things fall because of gravity. Yes, that is very true.
