How to Deal With the Emotions of Your Team Leaders

The conventional wisdom has been not to share your feelings in the work place. What goes into creating an environment where people can share their feelings and dadike, what goes into that? I have just literally published on that, which is teams that have more emotional, open environments are more creative.
