Michael McCleimand and James Dominic Rooney

The first theological book I wrote after I got over the worst part of my illness was about a year and a half later. The old manualist Thomism that we thought had died out in the days of Dilubak and Balthazar and the young Ratzinger is being revived. And then when I was at St. Louis University, I had this lunch with Michael McCleimand and James Dominic Rooney. They spend a great deal of time attacking me and the two perhaps who do it most incompetently, but the two keep attacking the book.
