Amo's Dualist Analyse of the Mind

Amo's own points of reference are more recent. He is especially opposed to contemporary thinkers who avoid the problem simply by rejecting a strict dualism. Amo thinks that it would have been more consistent for Descartes to adhere rigorously to a dualist position.
