Cooling the Neck After a Concussion

During a concussion, the temperature of your brain is rising. So that would mean that if we can cool it down after a hit, that would be advantageous. But there is a downside of cooling selectively the brain - you actually have an influence on the thermostat. It's advisable to use things like cold vests during activity because what the cold vest is actually doing is changing the setting on your thermostat so that it's harder to lose heat.
