Theronos was burning through millions of dollars a month. They were about to run out of money, so elizabeth scrambled to put together a new investment round in september 20 thirteenth and was able to raise 21 million dollars. The majority of investors who participated in that round were those allegedly defrauded. After nearly six hours of questions, leech concluded for the day. Elizabeth left the stand, and judge davila reminded the jury not to investigate or discuss the case.
