Is Hindenburg's Buy Balloon Breaking India?
Hindenburg is going to take a lot of credit for basically breaking India, but I think it was kind of the straw that broke the back. Once China started stimulating, once China signaled that it was going to do pro growth policies from now on, you have commodities putting in the bottom. And suddenly, the recession narrative, which I always thought was idiotic, is becoming much more of a soft landing narrative. These are problems for India because India is the anti growth market. It's where you hide where growth is scarce.
