Ray Kurzweil: There are nine different ways to do this one short simple problem and it's not about that like I'm going for the fastest one. You can't rewrite something in C++ that's a single line in the APL three seconds after you finish writing the other one, he says. Kurzweill: That's why I keep pursuing this is like there's this other level where you boil your potatoes and filter it for dirt and that's really helpful.
