Private Equity Groups - What's the Difference?
I was pretty surprised at how varied the private equity groups can be. Just from my experience, Enz is an eye center that's now owned by a private equity which is basically a teacher of pension fund. I'd even know that a teacher pension fund could invest in an eye clinic. So it's kind of eye opening to me how varied it can be. Having that partnership with a large private equity group gives you that sort of confidence that you'll survive through the rough times.
