It's fundamentally misunderstanding the whole point of music like this. The prodigy are just too carismatic, too singular, too unignorable as individuals. They have a tangible rock star magnetism in a scene hostile to the very notion of rockstar magnetism. Despite their exhilarating merger of underground energy and pop appeal, the prodigy were regarded as hopelessly uncool by taste makers. There was a liberating joy in surrending to the radical anonymity of the music. And it was so much huger than the sum of its parts.
