I Think Your Book Does an Excellent Job in That Regard

I wondered whether you felt that linguistics had taken a more rhetoric friendly turn in recent times, anly since or by contrast with generative linguistics. I'm not sure what a psycholinguist would do with the difference between loose and periodic sentences. The loose sentences get done with what they have to say grammatically, and then they simply go on and on. And that's actualla, very characteristic sentence in modern prose. In thi, you know, trailing with trailing modifiers. So i'm not sure that i'm aware of what a psycho linguist would find of interest in that distinction. Are you talking about a place i no emphasis, or when people are aware of
