The Importance of Identity in Vedanta

The scriptures describe what it feels like when you become one with that entity, but they cannot describe what the entity is. Bhagavan without stopping continues his dialogue in chapter 7 and he says, Mayi Asakta, Manaha,. Partha, Yogam, Jindran, Madhashta, Yaha, Asan seamsam, Madhgrammam, Yatag nasa-sithra-suna. Up till now I really have doubt whether I can ever reach there. Identity is not the Supreme Self, but identity can give me a road map how to get there.
