Why Americans Don't Have Fences

I'm just kind of obsessed with it. Like you just hose down a child that comes by your lawn. Yeah, I mean it's not like a fire hose. You know it's like a garden. There's no harm being done. Somebody commented though they were like I've never understood why Americans don't seem to have fences. They're basically the norm in the UK. If I see a stretch of open grass I'd assume it's public ground which is interesting. I guess we don't really have fences. America actually is a little bit communist if we need everybody's yards to look exactly the same so yeah God forbid someone tries to introduce a little biodiversity in the suburbs. Jesus
