The History of Death in the Bible

You have shown that the New Testament teaches universalism. You have also shown that eternal punishment is not in the Bible. If you imagine that some of the language is annihilationist I don't see any reason to assume it is. The pastoral epistles are just straightforwardly universalist. Just take them out. And so we're all of the New Testament we had, there'd be no way of reading them as other than straightforward and unambiguous universalist documents. And yet we read right over them.
