Can Export Natural Gas to Europe Solve This Crisis?
The energy crisis in europe is not something that can be solved by exporting natural gas to the rest of Europe. Building a refinery takes five plus years, building a copper mine seven and yours could take as much as two decades. The bigger risk here is using price caps which will end up creating a bigger problem than the actual underlying crisis itself. In fact, our target as right now is that european gas goes sub 100 ureos of megawat our in January or February.
