The History of the Shanti's in Barcelona in the Late 1960s
The Passillo Maritimo which is here was growing and every time it extended a part of the of the Shanti's were knocked down. Then in 1966 military operation shall we say it was called a naval exercise, was being held in Barcelona. So some people in the local authorities decided it was not seemly to have these Shanti's on the beach because they were going to perform an exercise. In one week a century of history was erased. Do you think more should be done? People will never know enough about the Pass because we forget the Passis forgotten constantly.
