The Island Dolls in Sochi, Mexico
In the early 1900s, a man named Don Julian Santana drowned on an island in Mexico. The girl's body was eventually laid to rest, but every time he traveled by the bank where he found her body, he claimed to hear the young girl whispering, I want my doll. Many believe that the dolls have been placed there by spirits. Others think the locals added the dolls over time. Either way, all of the different kinds hang from trees and walls,. Some are even headless, and others look like they could be voodoo dolls with pins sticking in them.
