Sandra Colbane: We know that if you pour water onto charged sand, it releases investiture. It's the micro flora that is blue and there. And so I wonder what if the lichen that lives on the white sand is like an investiture either? She says maybe autonomy has closed off Teldane because of its ability to control a stream of investiture which can be used for good or bad. "It probably has a name that isn't investiture aether, but the red spikes," she adds.
