The Children's Tale of a Parrot in a Forest

This is kind of your bedtime story, part of to night lecture. Once a long time ago, when you were much younger than you are a the buddha was born as a parrot in a great forest and befriended many animals. And they lived together until one year when there was very little rain. And then all of a sudden, at the end of the dry season, there was a thunder cloud that came, but without water. And the lightning struck the forest, and a great fire began. The whole forest started to burn, as is told in this children's tale.
